Over the past handful of seasons with Mike Woodson at the helm as coach, the Atlanta Hawks have gone from the worst team in the entire league to a playoff team and legit dark horse candidate to upset one of the "big three" eastern conference juggernauts and appear in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Hawks enjoyed a fine offseason acquiring All American point guard Jeff Teauge via the first round of the 2009 draft. The Hawks also picked up perennial scoring machine Jammal Crawford to be their sixth man and replace the departed Flip Murray as the scoring pop off the bench and they even managed to deepen their frontcourt depth with the additions of proven veterans Joe Smith and Jason Collins. In my opinion the Hawks are locked and loaded to enjoy one of their finest season in over a decade, it should be fun to watch their season story unfold as they take on one of the vaunted "big three" in the second round of the playoffs this season once again!
